Astrology’s out, Numerology’s in!
Meet numerology—the newly-emerged-yet-old-school- method of being allocated an esoteric number, which determines your life path! Sound bogus, yet? Well each to their own but one thing’s for sure, we all secretly want to know what the true purpose of our life is! You’ll also get an in-depth look at all your wonderful personality traits that you’re already aware of… and maybe a roast of your less-than-attractive qualities. There are only 9 numbers in the world of numerology, only single digits welcome so here’s how you calculate yours:
First, take a look at your birthdate. I’ll use mine as an example: 28-02-1996.
Add up the actual birthday (28th), which is 2+8= 10. You’ll need to simplify all the numbers into single digits given you can only be a number between 1-9, which means 10 should become: 1+0= 1.
Sum up your birth month, which for me is 2 because 0+2= 2.
Lastly, calculate the total of the year you’re born in, e.g. 1+9+9+6 = 25. Once again I’ll reduce that number to a single digit, which makes it 2+5= 7.
I’m left with the numbers: 1,3,7… and what do I do with them? Why of course, add them up! So 1+2+7= 10. Reduce the double digits to a single digit and I get- 1+0= 1! Thus, my lifepath number is 1.
Now, calculate yours to find out how you can pursue your #lifegoals while all decked out in Olena!
The 1s: The Trailblazer
Confident, daring, and electric are synonymous with number 1’s. They’re pioneers, making them the first of their kind to create trends or big businesses that command the room effortlessly. Although their charming demeanours always seem to land them what they want, when feeling off their game—they can become overly competitive and insecure as their minds are prone to telling them: “you’re not good enough”. So if this is your number, just remember having both, talent and humility is a win. You would do well in well… just about any career you put your mind to but it must allow for you to lead and create with a whole clan while simultaneously helping the community in a large way. Remember: you’re inspirational, inventive, and most definitely an icon.
Famous 1s: Steve jobs, Martin Luther King Jr, Lady Gaga, Nikola Tesla, Will Ferrell, Scarlett Johansson, Charlie Chaplin, George Clooney, Tiger woods, Walt Disney, George Lucas.
The 2s: The Lover
The peace-loving hippies of the numerology universe, these people strive for equality, liberation, and harmony. They do their best in a supportive, team-oriented environment where sharing successes happens on a daily. As the ultimate giver, there may be a tendency for co-dependency but if they find a narrative that’s solely theirs, they will soar to heights they never knew possible. In this lifetime, you’ll need a strong family base and fruitful career to truly be happy. Consider a career where there are plenty of people on your team: be it an advertising firm, the Peace Corps, a school, or even Wall Street. Maybe you’ll even find your very own Leonardo Dicaprio/ Margot Robbie on the way!
Famous 2s: Madonna, Tim Burton, Barack Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Jackie Onassis, Kanye West, Amelia Earheart, Diana Ross, Daniel Craig, Bill Clinton.
The 3s: The Performer
This life path will inevitably lead individuals to become someone who communicates their ideas at a globally influential scale. Due to your openly sensitive nature, people relate to you and want to listen to your infectious self. The only downside to being the life of the party? You’ll attract a lot of “energy vampires” so make sure to protect yourself. You should never dwell on the past and on small inconveniences as 3s may be shining stars but can just as quickly swing to the dark side. One thing’s for sure though, writing will be an incredibly important component in your life and career. Spread your message!
Famous 3s: Nina Simone, Frida Kahlo, Hilary Clinton, Snoop Dogg, Anne frank, Alfred Hickcock, Charles Dickens, David Bowie, John Travolta.
The 4s: The Educator
People tend to look to you whenever they need someone responsible to take control of the situation. You always seem competent and have an insatiable thirst for all types of knowledge, making you the reputable braniac of the bunch! You do especially well when teaching others for what you say can have a major impact on the world when done right. However, your downfalls lie in shunning and judging others who don’t conform to the rules, aren’t practical, and are complete extraverts, which leads you to miss out on big opportunities to collaborate. So open up your horizons a little more the way you do with your intellect and you’ll find that sometimes, others can teach you too! Anything to do with major research, broadcasting, and anthropology is the place for you.
Famous 4s: Oprah Winfrey, Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt, Keeanu Reeves, Bill Gates, Clint Eastwood, Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo Da Vinci, Frank Sinatra, Kim Kardashian.
The 5s: The Adventurer
You love the finer things in life and that’s A OK but just remember that by seeking out all the pleasures and freedom in the world—you may develop an addictive personality! But it really doesn’t have to be that deep because all you need to do is go into an occupation that brings (good) drama! Think: journalist, actor, or even EMT! The highs are worth it and that fast-paced action will keep you on track at being the best at what you do… and just like this description, it’s short and sweet so you can get on with your life!
Famous 5s: Abraham Lincoln, Malcolm X, Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé, Stephen Spielberg, Mick Jagger, Sir Isaac Newton, Tina Turner, Marlon Brando.
The 6s: The Healer
Some people are just natural babe magnets and that’s you! Not only do you exude this comforting energy that makes people want to wife up but you’re also the person that everyone comes to for advice. You strive for a healthy domestic life and are an avid lover of beauty, however this may be translated into curating somewhat of a “false” reality for both, yourself and others. As a healer, your job is to gently help your community realise their life paths in a genuine manner. Perhaps on digital platforms. At times, you may become resentful and boastful if you realise others do not deem you indispensable so remember in order to help others, you need to help yourself first.
Famous 6s: Stephen king, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Steve Carrel, Albert Einstein, Britney Spears, Meryl Streep, Stevie Wonder, Robert De Niro.
The 7s: The Searcher
Much like number 4s, these allusive individuals are happiest when they’ve got an abundance of knowledge at their disposal (preferably a Scandinavian library) or even a good gossip sesh. Either way, they seek out truth and data relentlessly, making them the most likely to succeed at law or a hyper-analytical job. Their only fault is that due to their sharp nature, they may be partners with extremely high standards that at times are impossible to satisfy (a shallow checklist if you will). For number 7s, they will need to strike a balance between work and play. Emphasis on the play in natural settings because that’s where they recharge the best, whether they know it or not!
Famous 7s: Queen Elizabeth, Andy Warhol, Princess Diana, Leonardo Dicaprio, Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp, Freddie Mercury, Stephen Hawking, Elon Musk, John F. Kennedy.
The 8s: The Money Maker
Numbers 8s are special in the sense that they are able to completely transform something negative into something wholly good. This is translated into seeking financial security more than most and landing the label of: “workaholic”, which makes for an intense individual buuut we think responsibility is sexy! Unfortunately, 8s may have more trouble in family life during childhood, which is the root of their less-than-forgiving nature (but can be remedied over time.) Your life path is definitely one that involves numbers that’ll earn you the big bucks such as banking, law, or even scientific fields but your real fulfilment will eventually be charity work, especially when it involves children.
Famous 8s: Pablo Picasso, Bob Dylan, Michael Angelo, Amy Winehouse, Nelson Mandela, Naomi Campbell, Trevor Noah, Martha Stewart, Cate Blanchett, Elizabeth Taylor.
The 9s: The Humanitarian
These people inspire everyone around them, as they are the wisest in the crew akin to the sign of Pisces in western astrology. Your charisma is infectious and there’s no one quite as ethereal as you. With a starring combination of dreamy eyes and the ability to emotionally better people, your best life path would be to become an entrepreneur in a field that is untouched, with a smidge of spirituality. Just be aware that harbouring old feelings can give you a horrible case of: victim-complex. We’ll let you get away with it this time though, but only because a lot of famous artists who’ve created astounding work are also number 9s! Set the world ablaze with compassion!
Famous 9s: Mother Teresa, Cher, Adele, Malala Yousafzai, Yoko Ono, Jim Carrey, Morgan freeman, Mahatma Gandhi, Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain, Robin Williams, Elvis Presley.
